How do you continue to draw a person when they have figured out that you are drawing them? Does it make you nervous to draw a stranger that is staring at you?

Thanks Nichole, If the person knows, I simply smile and make my sketchbook visible so they can see what I am doing. This helps clear all the doubt and gives room for discussion and interactions, something people seldom do on London Public Transport.

I used to feel nervous and I must confess sometimes I still do. But I try my best to be relaxed, because, if one looks tense and nervous it communicates the sme message to the commuter and they'll instantly feel uncomfortable!

But you also need to follow your instincts, if you can smell danger coming, best avoid it!
